Attorney and Counselor at Law

And Justice For All ... does not mean justice only for the rich.

Susan Zoll
Attorney and Counselor at Law
Fighting for you in Brazoria, Galveston, Fort Bend, and Harris Counties

I was born in Chicago but raised in a small, blue-collar town in mid-Michigan. I also lived in Phoenix and Traverse City before returning to Houston. I am a retired Michigan State Police officer but now include criminal defense in my resume.

After my retirement, I went to Spring Arbor University in Michigan and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management before earning a Master of Science Degree in Psychology from Walden University. I originally intended to become a clinical psychologist, but my love for the law called louder and I came back to the Houston area to attend law school at Thurgood Marshall School of Law.

After receiving my license to practice law in 2009, I set up my small, private practice. I wasn’t interested in working for a law firm, as I’d worked for someone else all my adult life. Now I wanted to practice law in my own way, which is by helping others where I can rather than by how much money they have.

I will work for you, not for a boss or partner or associate. I will earn your money myself, not to pay a secretary or receptionist, or maintain an expensive office.

My credentials:

  • Texas Bar Association, Member

  • Galveston County Bar Association, Member

  • Brazoria County Bar Association, Member

  • The Psi Chi National Honor Society in Psychology

  • Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Service from the Women Police of Michigan

I love reading and playing ice hockey. I am also a proud support of Houston Women’s Hockey League and San Jacinto Coyotes softball.
